The following is from my friend Lynda who was having trouble posting. Daily scripture reading keeps my focus on God’s ability to save. Life as I know it now can often be an emotional rollercoaster and a tug-of-war between God’s saving and my surviving, but turning to God’s Word every day helps me remember I am not the only one to experience fear, doubt, challenges, etc., although it has definitely felt that way on occasion. Even those in the time of Joseph experienced something to which they turned to God for help. The more we extend our hand and open our hearts, we know we have to lean on the side of God’s saving if we are to realize the plan He has for each of us. It may not be today, next year, or a lifetime, but the plan is in place for us to reap the reward of a Kingdom in Heaven.
